Elizabeth David Designs Giveaway (CLOSED)

Elizabeth David is an amazing woman. She started sewing at the age of 8 when her mom gave Elizabeth her first sewing machine (way to go mom!). She was designing and sewing most of her own clothes by the time she was ten (wow!). Three years ago she started making purses for sale on Ebay and has sold over  1000 items already. That's a lot! Isn't it?

You ask where does the inspiration come from?! As you can see from her designs, she loves bright colors and that's what makes her imagination run! She gets some help from her daughter too. Liz says that her daughter has excellent taste and that she is always putting layouts down for her daughter's opinion if she can catch her in-between trips home from college.

When I asked what was Elizabeth's favorite item from her shop she answered: “I love my ultimate messenger bag, just the right size and really soft and plush! I have tried a hundred different combinations of different stabilizers and I REALLY like the latest combination I'm using on all of my bags, they're firm and structured but very cushiony soft.”
 

Take a look at her handbags, mommy bags, wallets, portfolios, planners and book covers.  My personal favorite is the Boutique Michael Miller DAISY DELIGHT handbag (centre). I love the fabrics she is using. These incredible colors can make you happy even on the most cloudy day.

Elizabeth loves to sew and design and says that Elizabeth David Designs is her dream come true.
